story
人類が初めて経験した大規模な宇宙空間での戦争が、地球連邦政府とジオン公国のものだった。その最後の一年間は、人型の機動兵器、モビルスーツの実用期ともなった。あれから10年弱……。ユニバーサル・センチュリー００８７（ダブルオーエイティセブン）。地球に住む人々とスペースコロニーに住む人々との確執はいまだくすぶり、人々の魂もいまだ地球の重力から解放されていなかった……。
スペースコロニー、グリーン・ノア２に住む少年、カミーユ・ビダンは連邦軍軍人への反発から、新型モビルスーツ、ガンダムＭｋ-・を奪取。反地球連邦組織『エゥーゴ』へと身を投じる。ガンダムＭｋ-・を奪われた連邦軍のエリート組織『ティターンズ』は、カミーユの両親を人質にとるような卑劣な作戦を強行した。結果、カミーユは眼前で両親を失ってしまう。そんなカミーユの側にいるクワトロ・バジーナ大尉は、かつてのジオン公国軍のエース、シャア・アズナブルだったが、彼は軍をあるべきものにしようという夢を抱いていた。両親の死を悲しむ間もなくエゥーゴの作戦に参加したカミーユは、大気圏を突破して地球へ降下して、出会った男がいた。かつてのシャアのライバルだった伝説の男アムロ・レイだった……。
