Collowing his late teacher?s passing, Gam Sai Wai (Raymond Lam) leaves Snake Island for the Central Plains in search of Mang Shan Sect?s L? Si Niang (Bai Yin) to pass her a letter and to request her help in purging the poison in his body.# T, {- u/ e2 O; `/ F, G

Upon his arrival in the Central Plains, the innocent Sai Wai becomes an unwilling participant in the tumultuous world of martial arts and battles. Because of the ragged clothes he is wearing, Sai Wai is mistaken for a member of the Beggar's Sect and is dragged into their battles with the Shaolin Monks.5 g! w$ l. I1 Y7 q, r* \/ C

L? Si Niang dies in her attempt to save Sai Wai, leaving Mang Shan Sect to believe Sai Wai is the murderer. Disillusioned by the turn of events, Zhi Wah joins Sai Wai in his wanders. Shing Nam, dedicated to seek revenge against Sai Wai, joins them but unwittingly falls in love with Sai Wai. Sensing the attraction between Zhi Wah and Sai Wai, Shing Nam continually harasses and creates problems for Zhi Wah.+ s' v/ N* f: l9 u6 x4 c
! \# C( F5 n4 U& pThey arrive at Volcano Island to obtain a precious martial arts manual but Zhi Wah is captured by the highly-skilled Meng Shen Tong, who manages to grab half of the manual and master the demonic gongfu.
