<P align=center>Sonic X is based on the popular videogame series "Sonic the Hedgehog".
9 ~) Y& D0 h* }Sonic, the fastest creature in the universe, is a cool hero with lots of attitude. Using his quick wits and fast feet, he goes head to head with the technological genius, the evil Dr. Robotnik. Often called "Dr. Eggman", a name dubbed by the hedgehog to refer to the doctor by his unusual bodyshape, Dr. Robotnik builds his robots and machines to take over the world and establish the "Eggman Empire". In this series, Sonic races off to save two of his friends, Cream the Rabbit, and Cheese the Chao, from the evil genius, who has collected the legendary 7 Chaos Emeralds, gems with the ability to grant the use much power. Joining Sonic on the rescue are his friends Miles "Tails" Prower (a two-tailed fox with the ability to fly), Amy Rose (a fiery pink hammer-weilding hedgehog), and Knuckles the Echidna (last of his kind, and guardian of the fabled floating "Angel Island"). When Sonic rushes in to stop Dr. Eggman from achieving his plans, an accident is triggered with the power of the Chaos Emeralds, and Sonic and his friends are whisked away to a new world full of strange creatures called "humans".
