　　游戏的故事发生在魔导圣战～风色幻想的「缎带镇」。因冒险者的往来以及大陆第一座冒险者公会总会的设立，令这个原本只是个单纯小镇的「缎带镇」渐渐繁荣起来。缎带镇的繁荣令很多商家富裕起来，有许多人就因为这个转变而成为亿万的富翁，除了一间叫「海鸥亭」的旅社，它从缎带镇尚未发迹前就已经存在，已经有１２０年的历史，虽然没甚么生意，但依然存在至今天。「海鸥亭」虽然换了几任店长、请过风水师查看地理、甚至施予招财的魔法，可以仍是赚不了钱。在大陆历１５５８年，海鸥亭终于因为长期营运不良而倒闭，在贱价大拍卖中，这间旅社被一个绑有两条马尾的年轻女孩买去，女孩将这间有间老旧的屋子重新整理，并挂上了「露卡的魔兽屋」的招牌，在这间被打扮布置可爱的屋子中，女孩可以达成梦想吗？

5 N. j1 X. x" j1 ^  c& S8 K% ^# S5 `　　游戏的主要目的是希望玩者培养手上的魔兽，让它们参加魔兽斗技大会，并且获得优胜。游戏进行可分为「魔兽训练、城镇情报搜集、原野冒险」等等几个项目，玩者通过这些项目去完成游戏。为了令《露卡的魔兽教室》有其它游戏没有的风格，及感官的冲击，游戏人的人物均表情丰富，还有很多有趣的动作，令人物跟游戏故事更生动，让玩者更易感受游戏的感动。除了以上之外，游戏的要角「魔兽」的种类除了旧氖《风色幻想》中的人气魔兽外，今集加入了很多可爱的新魔兽，而旧有的魔兽亦重新设计，有些魔兽还会进化的。

游戏的战斗系统

; p# \5 u1 T, {, _　　《露卡的魔兽教室》中采用了创新的攻击系统，不再单纯的跟以往的ＲＰＧ游戏一样，采用指令式战斗，开发小组大胆的加入了动作系统要素，让原本只是单纯的指令战斗变成更具冲击力及互动性的崭新系统，玩者可在战斗中完全操控一位角色的行动以及攻击。在没有行动时间限制及行动值的规限下，玩者可以任意的进行「行走、攻击、防御、必杀技」等等多种行动。此外游戏中的魔兽舍去了所谓的装备指令，即是这次魔兽除了本身的能力和训练值外，是没有所谓武器装备提升魔兽的能力的东西了，想要自己的魔兽变强，便要自己努力去训练魔兽了。

1 g! M: [8 D3 r, d8 X4 ?+ ^　　魔兽的能力除了有「攻击力、防御力、敏捷度、特技能力」外，还有新增了一个叫「好感度」的东西，这个「好感度值」决定玩者是否可在战斗中操控这只魔兽，而且好感度太低的话魔兽可能会离开玩者的。至于好感度的提升或下降是源自于玩者对于这只魔兽所给予喂养的道具，好象「胶质怪」最喜欢的是花草类的道具，最讨厌的是金属或是岩石类的道具，当玩者喂养花草类的道具给它时，它的好感度将会提升，相反如果喂养金属或是岩石类的道具给它便会下降。所以玩者除了要注意魔兽能力值的升降外，好感度亦是相当重要的。

　　《露卡的魔兽教室》中为了强调魔兽属性的重要性，游戏中特别强调魔兽的属性差异，如果玩者不好好的认识魔兽的属性，将会很难继续游戏。在游戏中魔兽属性将会有两种不同的属性存在，好象「飞行龙」的属性就为「龙系」和「飞行系」两种，另外魔兽的特技攻击也会有攻击属性，以飞行龙为例，使用冰系及电系攻击将可对飞行龙造成有效的攻击，而地面系的攻击则是无效。
